BLB and IPS glow are completely different. Your monitor could have very minimal BLB. Load up a black screen and view your monitor from far away and at different angles, if white/yellowish light doesn’t disappear in certain spots no matter where you look at it, that’s backlight bleed.

2016年3月29日 · Bleed is a defect with a monitor that you may or may not be able to fix to a degree yourself, while IPS glow is just a trait of IPS screens. There's a lot of good info on that website. Pictures that people post here usually don't give others a good idea of how it appears when you're sitting infront of the monitor in person.

Also is it better to ask Amazon for replacement during my 30 day window or just RMA it through Asus? It is not as bad as on the photos, but still a bit visible.

2019年12月19日 · IPS glow is uniform at the corners. BLB is at the edge. Hard to tell from an over exposed image. Try seeing it from different angles. Like up, down, left, right and diagonal. If it goes away it's IPS glow. If it's not it's BLB. Is this what you normally see with your own eyes?
