I noticed it had a brand new water pump, radiator, hoses.. etc. I went ahead and replaced the radiator again, along with a new fan clutch and fan I found from the stock pile of M10 parts that I have lol...

I cannot get this 318i running, it has good compression, seems to have good spark, I know it gets cold start fuel spray, it does get fuel to regulator by fuel rail. I would like the timing procedure for this M10 engine.

2024年6月7日 · I’ve owned my 318i for 40 years and high idle speed has been an issue for most of the last 30 years. I spend time and money replacing the ICV and the idle control module and ultimately went with a version of the “penny” trick. In my case I drilled a small hole in (IIRC) a short M10 bolt and inserted into the hose leading to the ICV.
