But more than offsetting any minor gripes are the great things about my Beemer: It's different. You don't see R9Ts very often in the wild, and that seriously appeals to the non-conformist in me.

2020年11月18日 · @R9TFWS Welcome to the group, you have found the best source for 9T's The 9T is not a GS from a riding position, it is a much smaller bike. I had a R12GS and now a R12RT along with a R9T Classic. I had a R12GS and now a R12RT along with a R9T Classic.

2017年7月13日 · The 9T is a great weekend fun bike. It is smaller, lighter, simpler, more nimble and more engaging to ride than the GS, and the 9T gets much more attention from other riders; but it lacks wind protection, cruise control and carrying capacity. The passenger seat is small, even for mounting Kriega soft luggage.

I tried in the past to fit other fairings (Not R-9T specific) - but failed - mostly because of the fact that the R9 light is lower than most of the bikes - which required a higher fairing. Nevertheless, the one you showed in your picture - may be tall enough to fit (and also looks nice!).

2020年10月9日 · I also want to add that I'm going to test ride a Ducati Monster 821. Like the R9T it's a bike that's not to tall or heavy and sells for a similar price. Less, actually. The 821 has it over the BMW in many ways but when the fun factor wears off I'm not sure that it will be as easy to like and live with as the 9T.

2014年5月26日 · The boxer engines well covered even on over specced 10/50FS as it's not a race engine and very low revving compaired to in line 4 engines, so the oil dosnt get as mashed so it's molecular structure stays in shape for longer and it'll never hurt this engine 15/50 is designed for high revving sports bikes 17,000 revs it just makes BMW lives easier and a bigger profit margin with castrol oils to ...

2016年2月26日 · 9T has tons of cast aluminum brackets, the aluminum tank, proven swing arm/shaft drive, and passable suspension - kind of thing you upgrade when a repair is needed. All that said, if it doesn't fit or speak to you its not for you. The 9T is the kind of bike you can't help but look back after you get off and I really enjoy riding its around town.
