2006年4月21日 · The FSM calls for BPR6ES-11 plugs but the car currently has BP6ES-11 plugs in it. I haven't noticed any type of radio interference with the non-resistor plugs that have always been in my Z the during my 3+ years of ownership. I did receive 4 new plugs with the car when I bought it and they are also BP6ES-11 plugs.

2015年3月31日 · .040" is too big for an effective gap on the BP6ES plug. If you open this series of plug to .040" the center electrode and the side electrode are no longer parallel. With a Pertronix the gap should be .035". When using the Datsun electronic units, used the BP6ES11 wide gap plug. FYI, ALWAYS use a round wire gauge to measure the gaps.

That indicates an extended reach plug and they also went from a 15,000 mile plug to a 30,000 mile plug so the plugs lasted twice as long even in the 240's. All Z's from 70 through 80 also changed over to the high mileage plugs. The 70-76 went to BP6ES and the 77-80 went to BP6ES-11.
