2016年5月9日 · I recently invested a tenner in a BSR McDonald MP60 turntable, which under the dust and grime proved to be as cute as a button and in near-enough full working order. I've carried out the usual adjustments to set it up properly, and lubricated the spindle shaft & bearing, the motor and the idler wheel bearing.

2009年1月22日 · The BSR MP60 was a chronic rumbler, and while away at university I sold it and substituted a Connoisseur BD2 belt-drive deck. No auto operation, and not an expensive turntable, but in a different league as far as performance went!

2017年3月20日 · I have just acquired a BSR mp60 record deck all totally seized as per usual. Through strip down old grease totally removed and re lubricated where needed. Fitted a sonotone 9ta cartridge and a known good stylus tracking at 3grams. A 7" single plays perfectly till around a third through the record then the arm starts to groove jump backwards !
