2005年12月20日 · Hi guys, I've picked up a BT home hub 6 to use as the modem in conjunction with 3 TP-Link Deco M4's (2 in the house, 1 in the shed to extend to the garden) I read a thread on here last week and it linked to setup guide for the BT HH6 for such a scenario but for the life of me I cant seem to find it and the forum search doesn't appear to be working.
Making BT Home Hub 6 into a modem? - AVForums
2022年1月1日 · Putting the Home Hub into modem mode will disable the WiFi and DHCP, and will only allow 1 LAN connection which should go to your router. EDIT: After reading a bit further it seems the Home Hub may not have this functionality, by disabling the WiFi and DHCP the Hub will still do routing and NATing.
How to set a different password for BT Hub 6 on 5Ghz
2005年8月7日 · Hi Guys On my previous router settings on sky I was able to split the WiFi bands and give them separate passwords, which means the device using 2.4 or 5 would only select that one because of the set password. Now though we have the new ultrafast BT Hub 6 and although I can separate the bands, I...
Best modem/router to replace BT SmartHub? - AVForums
2006年12月3日 · I also have a lot of IOT / HA stuff here and a cabled network, it is clear the BT hub cannot handle the workload. My wifi is currently BT Whole Home and this works really well. BT Router - too many devices connected. What one to buy?
2016年3月24日 · I know that before I replaced it, my BT Smart Hub (Home Hub 6) started to buckle around 45 - 50 devices. The routing table started corrupting and devices would just randomly fall of the network. Wifi was fine as it it was handled by 3 x UAP-AC-Lites, it just couldn't keep up with all of the routing demands placed on it.

BT Home Hub replacement - AVForums
2020年5月25日 · I'm desperate to replace my BT Home Hub that came with the Infinity package and hoped you could suggest a decent, budget alternative. Am sick of the 2.4ghz band dumping every device off the wifi as and when it fancies it and now the 5ghz band has started requesting password authentication at random intervals.
