2018年9月8日 · For this rifle, which allows seating the bullet longer than max col, the increase in bc over the 168 hpbt smk makes a noticeable difference at 600 yds. If trying the tmk in another rifle, would have to balance the increase in bc against any real difference in velocity by increasing the seating depth.

2017年2月13日 · BTHP is much more accurate at range than FMJ ammo at range and yes it does reasonably well on game. Boattail means the base of the bullet, which you can't see in loaded ammo because it's inside the case, tapers in to a smaller diameter. This is to improve long-range ballistics performance of high velocity rifle bullets.
