BWR 3 and BWR 4 designs have a Mark I containment system. The Mark I Containment, shown here, consists of a drywell housing the reactor vessel and associated equipment, and a toriodial shaped wetwell. The Containment includes both the drywell and wetwell and is comprised of a steel liner with a surrounding concrete structure.
