2016年4月14日 · The Magpul AVG cannot be griped, not in any normal since of the word. Other angled things like the AVG are not designed to be gripped, just hand stops or rests at best. If it is designed to be a grip, its an VG and unless your OAL is 26 inches or longer, or you have it on a SBR, your best advice is get over it and move along.

All my rifles wear an MVG, BCM, or TD stubby vertical and I use a thumb break grip. I turned the KAG around and use it as a hand stop on my .22.

2019年11月22日 · I've read some discussion that the fact that this is slightly angled exempts it from the ATF determination that it is a vertical fore grip and thus would turn a pistol under 26" OAL into an AOW. I've tried the BCM KAG and Magpul's AFG on my pistol but neither is completely comfortable for me.

2017年8月28日 · That grip design, based on the traditional "VFG" style of grip, has no approved letters to my knowledge. This design would include items like the BCM products or the Fortis Shift: On the other hand, an angled fore grip is designed for the user to, essentially, still wrap the off-hand around or "cup" the axis of the barrel.

2016年7月4日 · I'm running the Odin Works 5.5" keymod rail, so not a lot of room. Running the KAG the right way puts my hand all the way at the end of the rail, thumb on top of my front site. If I run it backwards, it acts more like a hands-stop and gives me a complete c clamp type grip. For me it makes it way more comfortable to get a good grip.

2021年2月23日 · Angled grips are murky. 90 degrees is a VFG. Is 89 degrees OK? Not much has been said on adjustable grips, but I would avoid unless over 26 inches (firearm). I have a mixture of handstops, fingerstops, and several BCM angled grips on my pistols/firearms.
