The American Youth Basketball Tour hosts 5-on-5 youth basketball events throughout the Midwest and East Coast called District Series Events (DSEs). These DSEs guarantee each basketball team five games in a round robin format, and they are held on weekends starting in May and finishing in mid-July.

AYBT offers a customizable schedule and team structure, allowing coaches more control in managing a team. Competition among multiple teams, seeded by skill level, challenges each player to get better without being discouraged by elite teams. AYBT immerses players in an environment that encourages continued skill development.
