The gas block journal for this barrel is designed for Noveske’s low profile gas block and the journal is only one inch in length; standard length gas blocks will not work with this barrel.

2017年3月4日 · I'm looking for a scope recommendation for an 18" AR15 SPR I built. It will mostly be used for shooting steel at 100-300 yards and occasionally at 600 yards. I have a 16" Recce with an Aimpoint for run and gun, so I thought maybe a 2-10 type scope would be best, but I'd listen to arguments for 1-6/8 or 3-15 if anyone has them.

2022年10月14日 · Between those three, I'd pick the Burris or Steiner. I'm predominantly a NF guy but not the SHV line. The two scopes I like best for "DMR" are the ATACR 4-16x and the Razor Gen3 1-10x (only because the illuminated dot and translucency best out the ATACR 1-8x reticle) but the NX8 2.5-20 is pretty good too.

2020年12月25日 · IMO the best bang for the buck scope out there is the Bushnell LRTS/LRHS in 3-12 or 4.5-18. They can be found for $600-800 and are built like tanks. In fact I have one sitting on a 6.5G AR and a 300WM hunting gun. There is nothing under $1500 that even comes close for features and quality.

Gives sufficient thread engagement for those using the Ops-Inc SPR suppressor. Only 39 ounces, 1/2 ounce more than Crane's profile, but with a more sophisticated CNC contour. Pinned gas block. Ionbond diamondblack coating.

2019年11月1日 · I've got a magpul on mine mainly for weight. I prefer it to my Harris styles for weight and ergos. I don't need to deploy super fast. Im too cheap for an atlas, so no opinions there. Seems like they'd be the best of both worlds though.

When the PST Gen II 3-15x44 debuted at SHOT, I thought immediately that it would make a great SPR scope for mostly range use. If you’re looking for an SPR/Optic combo that you actually drag around in the woods, want to hunt with, or are around rock outcroppings and rough terrain, an exposed turret set-up is going to have inherent problems.
