This is a WeiDU mod which adds a joinable NPC from BG, Kivan, and under certain circumstances, his elven wife, Deheriana, to the cast of BG2 actors. The mod assumes that Kivan was in the group at the end of BG .

The Kivan of Shimestra (spelling botched) mod for BG2 is wordy AF, but excellent all the same. He's a very strong character but he is only good at one thing. He's 2nd best archer in the game. However, he's far less flexible than Montaron, Shar-Teel and Khalid. Who are your other "not Coran but can still shoot bows well" options.

2021年4月12日 · Two of them dual-wielded by Kivan would effectively be +2 longswords, in thac0 not in damage, but, close enough. Or you could go shortswords, and give him the whistling +2 sword... nothing wrong with shortswords, size isn't everything you know... you also get the bonus with 2H swords if you want to... compensate.

Kivan is an awesome mod, which follows on well from the BG1 NPC project content. I struggle not to have him along! If you don't take certain steps in BG2 to revive Kivan's wife then he will not be with you in ToB however.
