The Black Gangster Disciple Nation {BGDN} had wars on the Chicago south side over turf . King David Barksdale was murdered in 1974. Larry Hoover and Jerome Freeman took over and made the Folks Nation in 1978 Pontiac the same day as the People Nation .

Personally I wasn't a fan of the big focus shift onto bit beast battling. It was a shame that they left the actual bey battles to side and they didn't even make up for it with the bit beasts.

Folk alliance gangs also beefed and on the streets alliances broke down as big gangs no longer needed protection and gangs beefed with former allies.
