The laptop shows an (E:) drive and the desktop shows a (D:) drive I don't know if that matters or not I've pretty much tried everything. Click Audio CD for a playable audio CD or Data CD or DVD for a file storage CD. Add songs to the CD. You can add up to 80 minutes of audio to a standard audio CD, so click and drag your preferred songs from the main window into the "Burn" section. Click Start burn. It's at the top of the "Burn" section.

There is no difference between a blank and an empty CD-RW. You can reuse the disc multiple number of times if you are creating a multi-session disc. You can refer to the link below for more information.

2022年8月23日 · I have two Dell desktops, each was able to format and burn files to CD's and DVD's previously. Neither will do so now. I have tried deleting the drives and rebooting but problem still remains. I can do both operations on a Dell laptop with external burner. If I format a CD or DVD with the laptop, I can then burn to that disk on the desktop.

2018年12月21日 · I believe there is a problem with my DVD/Cd drive not detecting my blank CD-R. I am trying to burn a back up to CD from Windows Media Player But when I put my blank cd in it doesn't see it. Same goes for trying to play a cd too. I have tried with iTunes...same problem. Try this - Control Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click the device - Driver's Tab - click Update Drivers (this will likely do nothing) - then RIGHT CLICK the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT this will refresh the default driver stack.

I've ripped some cd's to my hard drive. When I try to burn them to a new disc I get a message to insert a blank disc. I insert a new blank disc, try again to burn and get the same message. I've tried 6 or 7 new disc's with the same results,
