2011年3月17日 · While riding Metra home today, I saw a EMD GP locomotive at Cicero, IL painted blue/white with a big BNSF logo on the side. It appeared the paint job may be a couple years old. I have seen CN locomotives painted blue in the Chicago area with the normal CN logo painted on the front.

The model is now lettered as BNSF 2051, one of a handful of blue BNSF GP38-2s that have made their way to BNSF's roster over the past few years. The factory GATX lettering and numbers were patched out with Microscale Light Blue Trim Film (TF-19).
