2017年7月25日 · BO3 has a ridiculously low draw distance by default, and you can only adjust it after loading up a mod through the dev console (can't remember the exact line atm). You can work around by doing that, but you have to do it every time you launch the game.

2023年7月25日 · Besides decks like Legacy's Manaless Dredge (always draw), Modern's Lantern Control (draw in good matchups) and some sealed formats, choosing to draw is right on very few situations. And the biggest problem is that you lose more by choosing to draw when choosing to play was optimal than choosing to play when choosing to draw was the better choice.

2021年10月3日 · One specific luck-based variable is the coin flip to decide who goes first. The player going first has sizable advantage. In bo3, this advantage is diminished (If you are 60% to win on the play and 40% to win on the draw, that advantage goes down to 55% to win a bo3 match). Bo3 is probably more efficient at climbing that bo1.

In the second scenario, you win the first game on the play, lose the second game on the draw, and win the third game on the play. Your probability of doing this is 0.56×0.56×0.56=0.175616. In the third scenario, you lose the first game on the play, win the second game on the play, and win the third game on the draw.
Bo3 and sideboard are an essential part of MTG gameplay depth
For example in BO3, if you are a midrange deck, you may need to create your mainboard (main deck) with both board wipes for aggro and draw for control. Then if you face a control deck, you can side out your wipes and add, say, Duress. If BO1 is the competetive format, you will always have to be prepared to fight both fast and slow decks.
