If that is the case, it might be a nod to the seven different Boov genders that are discussed in the book that the movie is based on (Adam Rex's "The True Meaning of Smekday"). The Boov are highly omnivorous, and can ingest almost anything that humans would find inedible.

Oh is the main protagonist of the film, Home. He is voiced by Jim Parsons. Like all Boov, Oh is placed into a new home (from one of the many apartments that were taken from the humans when they were "relocated" to Happy Humans Town). He plans a "Warming of house party." and invites his neighbors.
