2019年10月6日 · If you are going to scope a tiny rifle like a BL-22 or Browning SA-22, maybe use a smaller scope like the old Redfield 3/4" or the new Gru-Bee Cub. This guy likes this set up, but it looks goofy on the little BL, like putting a 6-18 scope on a lever 30-30.

2017年11月23日 · The Browning is currently made by Miroku in Japan. They used to be made in Belgium. It has walnut stocks, and the barrel and receiver are blued steel. The triggers on the BL-22’s tend to be mediocre at best. The Browning is easy to take apart, but putting it back together has driven a number of owners to seriously consider suicide.

2013年12月21日 · Lever action .22's are the best! Certainly the BL-22 and 9422 are the top of the heap with an old 39A right with them. We have a BL-22 purchased new in 1974 (for the grand price of $84!!) Still shoots great! Henry's are a good gun for the money, no doubt about that too (even without a machined steel receiver), smooth, accurate & dependable.

2013年12月25日 · Browning BL-22 Hi, I have a Browning BL-22 which I purchased in 1976 and it started to jam so I didn't use it all this time. I finally took it apart to blue the barrel and parts. I still have to repair the jamming of the bullet. Is there any techs that would know if it's the bolt assembly that causing the bullet to jam?

2017年4月8日 · The Browning trigger is a bit funky because it is mounted to the lever and stays with the lever when the action is cycled. The trigger on a BL-22 is generally a bit tough but can be smoothed up a bit. The rest of the Browning is fine. The guns seem to hold up well and have one of the shortest lever throws of any lever action .22 rifle.

2021年12月12日 · I also have a Skinner on my Browning BL-22. Using a peep sight over a scope makes for a compact, better handling and lighter carbine, and using a sleek top mounted sight like the Skinner makes a carbine nicer by not having a big lump of a sight sticking out the side. It carries more comfortably when slung or in the hand.

2012年6月5日 · Some rifles might do well with the Stingers, but I gave up on them a long time ago. In my rifles ( CZ Scout , Browning T-Bolt, Browning BL-22 ) the slower Mini-Mags Shoot like Match ammo. Remington 33 gr. Yellowjackets and Winchester 40 gr. Hyper velocity have been very accurate for faster rounds. Haven't tried any of the CCI Velocitors.
