Also used in many recording and broadcast facilities and high end home users. Among the very finest audio gear made. The 1B is quite old, over 20 years as it predates my 11B.

2014年10月29日 · I have a 1B with considerable 60Hz noise on both phono inputs - even when disconnected from the turntable / phono ground. Line-level inputs, by comparison, seem very quiet and clean. Did you notice a reduction in noise (especially ground noise) when you replaced the big filter caps? Those 1500s look like the factory originals to me.

Bryston's famous and classic flagship preamp. Bryston techs consider the 1B possibly the most overbuilt of Bryston's audio gear, which says something. Google has lots of stories about the famously huge soundstage of the 1B and the people who regret selling it, haha.
