Buck Ruxton (born Bukhtyar Chompa Rustomji Ratanji Hakim; 21 March 1899 – 12 May 1936) was an Indian-born physician convicted and subsequently hanged for the September 1935 murders of his common-law wife, Isabella Ruxton (née Kerr), and the family housemaid, Mary Jane Rogerson, at his home in Lancaster, England.

Dr Buck Ruxton (21 March 1899, Bombay – 12 May 1936, Manchester), also known as Buktyar Rustomji Ratanji Hakim, was a Parsi doctor and murderer, involved in one of the United Kingdom's most publicised murder cases of the 1930s, which gripped the nation at the time.

On September 14, 1935, Buck Ruxton, an Indian-born physician who lived in Lancashire, near the English-Scottish border, murdered his wife Isabella and her maid Mary Rogerson, and then mutilated their bodies and scattered the parts, in an effort to make them unidentifiable.

On Sunday, 29th September, 1935, two dismembered bodies were found in a ravine near Moffat in Dumfriesshire. The local police immediately sought assistance from detective officers in Glasgow and Detective Lieutenants William Ewing and Bertie Hammond travelled to Moffat.

Buck Ruxton was hanged for his crimes on 12 May 1936, at HM Prison Manchester, better known to the public as Strangeways. He had given the News of the Word newspaper his confession to the crimes, to be published after his death.
