2020年9月20日 · So I really like the bug mane episodes but they are a little polarizing because he kind of hijacks the show. If you get the double, the Dead Men Chew No Meals (pirates 5 review) is a great episode. Otherwise Tony Roma's is a good introduction to bug mane lore and if you can handle that, then IHOb episode has great payoff

Lol Bug Mane. This ridiculous podcast. Edit: I haven't listened yet but I legitimately can't stop laughing at the very idea that Bug Mane is a guy, a guy they've discussed before mildly contentiously and now here he is as part of the Spoonister Six. Edit 2: Wow, Bug Mane really is like Armen with an edge.

Bug Mane is a scattered tongue in cheek take on shock jocks, conspiracy theorists and DJ culture, I think? I don't find him as frustrating as some people but I can't say I truly "get" the joke. To be honest, no I don't think you need much history on Bug to listen to the La Nouba episode. It doesn't really reference much lore.

Personally, I get “offensive” as a bit and I don’t mind it. But (IMO) Bug Mane just isn’t funny or enjoyable to listen to, and his voice is super annoying. I love that Mitch and Nick play with bro humor and can perform it from the inside, with a kind of informed sarcasm. Bug Mane is like Tosh .O territory- cringey, embarrassing, hacky.
