2010年5月19日 · C&C made 3 26,s. The 26, 26 Encounter, and the 26 wave. The Wave is an 80's design, the other boats were late 70s. I've never actually seen one. My rig book shows a draft of 2.9' on the Wave! Yikes! The boat has a much longer waterline (23') and lighter weight (4700#). The SA/D is 19.5 vs 17.5 and 15.3 for the other 26s.

2012年9月30日 · There seems to be a great deal of confusion and misinformation regarding the C&C 26 specs. I have just purchased a C&C 26 which fortunately came complete with it's original Owners Manual binder, drawings and more. My C&C 26 came with a Yammar SVE 8 Diesel engine which according to the manual was only available for the C&C 26.

2016年2月13日 · The 26 is a relatively flatter sheer/high freeboard boat for a 70s C&C, but doubtless gains some volume from that. IIRC the 26 is also one of their earlier production balsa cored hulls so that's something to check the integrity of.

2009年9月17日 · The C&C has no significant issues, but is pretty bare bones and I would expect to spend $4K to add electronics and a dodger and to replace the interior cushions. I've sailed on Sabre 28's, but not on the C&C or Hunter. I would like to know more about sailing attributes of the Hunter 27 & C&C 26.

2007年5月26日 · C&C 26 Sea Fever HI, I purchased my 1977 c&c 26 last year and it really has been a great boat. She's a bit tippy in 20 knots of wind and there are stoppers on the tiller that won't allow enough helm to be used when weater helm is out of control but aside from that she's really a great boat.

2008年3月7日 · Consulting Designer of Chrysler 26: Halsey Herreshoff ! You will find that the displacement is about 1000 to 2000 lbs more than many other boats built in the 1980's and newer. I doubt you will find a soft spot on the deck. The hull at the bow is Very strong.

2012年7月26日 · Grampian, hands down. It is a BIG 26' boat while the Seafarer is the opposite- a smallish 26' boat. The difference really shows up in the v-berth. The Grampian v-berth is spacious and bright with enough room to sit up, the Seafarer's is a tight narrow dark cave. The only downside to the Gramp is the dinette layout.
