This product meets IMO II/III and U.S. EPA Tier 3 (recreational) emissions standards and is perfectly suited for yachting applications.

The Caterpillar C32 is a V12 diesel engine made by Caterpillar Inc. The engine displacement is 32.1 liters (1959 cubic inches). The cylinder size is 5.71 inches x 6.38 inches bore / stroke. The engine can produce up to 1900 horsepower at 2300 rpm. The peak torque of 5532 lb-ft occurs at an engine speed of 1300 to 1800 RPM.

The C32 marine propulsion engine is available at ratings that meet EPA Tier 3, EPA Tier 4, and IMO II/III, and EU Stage 5 emissions regulations. It has a separate circuit aftercooling system (SCAC) for A through C ratings and a seawater aftercooling system (SWAC) for D and E ratings.

The C32B 3-Turbo is ideal for yachting, sportfishing, and governmental applications. Compared to the C32B 2025 MHP model, the new engine has an updated cooling system and a new sequential (3-turbo) air system that delivers faster response and better performance.

C32B engines have excellent power density with a peak U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final certified rating of 895 kW (1200 hp) and 839 kW (1125 hp) for EU Stage V. Its U.S. EPA Tier 2 equivalent version offers a peak rating of 1007 kW (1350 hp). The C32B uses a dual-can diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) aftertreatment.
