Had a C43 and a C63S .. if you do buy it make sure you have tire and wheel warranty from Mercedes. You will crack/bend rims hitting most post holes. The transmission is not the best on the C43 on that year.. if you hesitate on the gas in sport mode it will bunny hop. The suspension is hard a rock and almost feels like it’s made of wood.

2023年12月4日 · Here is a picture of mine versus another c43. If you have it, it appears on the AMG screen. If you don’t have it, there is a blank spot and the car is actually a bit subdued to be honest. Also, found out from AMG owner forum they call it performance sound now for regulatory reasons because there’s restrictions on exhaust valves.

The new c43 is nice but it still has its kinks with the thermostat issue and other CEL causes, you could get an e450 with an inline 6 w213 or w214 or a w205 c43 that has more aftermarket options if you like modding. The e450 is more of a cruiser but you can still get good power from it.

2023年8月15日 · I have a tuned 2017 c43 coupe with around 500 hp and over 528ft-ib of torque, and it goes like crazy. Where I live, the c43 is considered a full-on sports car stock, and my modifications bring it up to the level of that pretty much no one on the road can even think about beating you. I've owned the car before and after the tune and daily drive it.

2024年4月11日 · The interior of the C43 is of course much nicer and more advanced than the CLA45s. It looks like in the UK we dont get as many options as the global chaps and the C43 has no additional option to install the AMG Exhaust whereas the CLA45s in the UK comes standard with the exhaust and associated button.

2023年11月28日 · I have a 2017 c43, but I believe that we have the same transmission. That being said, the c43 is just a very jerky car. Keep up with you atf fluid changes and it should be good. The worst for me is shift out and into 1st since the ratio is so small. You can reduce the jerk by using 2nd gear as your launch gear and being gentle with the pedal.

In 2 months of ownership I’m already over the elitists who say “tHaTs NoT a ReAl AmG” Here’s the thing….Mercedes-Benz can put an AMG badge on whatever car they want….it’s a “rEaL” AMG. Maybe not “traditionally” so. However Mercedes-Benz is just like any other company in the world.

2023年5月23日 · Mercedes put in a particulate filter or something for the stupid euro emissions laws that quieted down the car significantly. It happened with all C63’s and C43’s after 2019. I would buy the 2018, both are probably out of warranty anyways so it doesn’t matter, the C43 is a very reliable car.

2024年1月13日 · You should be aware of a major manufacturing issue with the engine block on the C43. There have been countless posts about it on this sub, the Mercedes sub, and the MB World forums. Molding sand gets left in the block and wrecks the coolant system.
