The Chevrolet Corvette C5-R is a grand touring racing car built by Pratt Miller and Chevrolet for competition in endurance racing. The car is based on the C5 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, yet is designed purely for motorsports use.

C5R-005 was one of Corvette Racing’s most dominate cars thanks to winning seven times in 11 races. It would take the win at the 2002 Petit Le Mans and win at the Sebring 12 Hours in 2003.

The new C5R chassis delivered by Pratt & Miller were an evolution of the original C5R; they were wider, lower, and more powerful. This meant they finally had the opportunity to be the best GTS Class car.
