CC stands for cubic centimeters, a measurement unit used to quantify breast implants’ volume or size. The larger the CC size, the larger the implant’s volume and, consequently, the potential increase in breast size. Bra cup sizes are represented by letters (A, B, C, D, etc.) and indicate the volume of breast tissue a bra can accommodate.

There are two components of a bra size: the number, and the letter. The numerical component corresponds to your ribcage measurement, going up or down depending on your preference for a relaxed or firm band. But what exactly does the cup size mean? Contrary to what many people believe, your cup size is not a measurement of breast volume.
