2017年2月10日 · I have not seen any evidence over my lab radar of higher velocities with 34's. In disbelief of my own data, due to so many online saying it is a magnum primer i called CCI and spoke with a tech there. He also verified my findings. The 34 is not a magnum primer. The 41's in small rifle, absolutely are much hotter than regular primers.

2006年1月29日 · Slightly off topic, but in the same vein, so I hope it won't qualify as a thread hi-jack. When reloading for semi-auto, one is meant to use magnum rifle primers or CCI 34/41, however, I don't recall ever having seen on standard .308 or .223 commercial hunting loads a disclaimer to say 'not to be use in semi-autos'.

2015年5月5日 · But when I started I purchased a ton of CCI primers in Sm Rifle, Lg Rifle, Sm Pistol, and Lg Pistol. Recently I picked up 1k Winchester primers. I shot them last night and they appear more flattened than the CCI's ever did. No other pressure signs. I realize that primers can burn differently and could potentially be causing more pressure.

2020年2月7日 · I also loaded up some of the 45.5 gr and 46.0 gr loads with CCI-200 primers. These primers didn't exhibit the flattening that the WLR primers did; in fact the CCI-200 primers still retained a radius around there perimeter. See the attached photos of the primers in the 45.5 gr and 46.0 gr loads.
