The Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT) is an intergovernmental organisation responsible for the management of southern bluefin tuna throughout its distribution. The CCSBT collects a variety of data types from its Members and Cooperating Non-Members, including total catch, catch and effort data, and catch at size data. Catch, size and trade information is also collected through the Commission's Catch Documentation Scheme, Japanese import statistics, and other monitoring programs.

Summaries would be provided separately for CCSBT statistical areas and species/species groups. The tables and figures presented in this paper are mainly an update of those presented in paper CCSBT-ERS/1703/05 at ERSWG 12.
