It looks like the erase works but does not complete when it is near 100% and just hangs. I cannot eject the CD and if I cancel the task, the CD drive cannot be used. In the Value data box, type 1 if the drive is a CD-R drive or 2 if it is a CD-RW drive. Click OK , and then close Registry Editor. O.k. the part that's underlined and asterisked (probably not a word, but you get the point) is what is really confusing, as there isn't anything listed under 'Drives' in that subsection of the Registry Editor.

Burning a CD-RW with Windows Media Player Is there a reason my CD doesn't play on a CD player, other than my computer? It appears to have been burned correctly, but in Explorer, it shows that the music is 'ready to be burned to the CD.'
