National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) 575-599 were 1970-78 CF7 locomotives. They were remanufactured in-house by Santa Fe from EMD F7A locomotives originally built between 1939 and 1959. Amtrak acquired them in August-September 1984 from Santa Fe alongside SSB1200 units 550-567, in exchange for 17 SDP40F locomotives.
