TAMPA regularly executes a variety of Coast Guard missions, to include Drug Interdiction, Search and Rescue, Living Marine Resources, and Migrant Interdiction. TAMPA is homeported alongside eight of her sister ships: BEAR, HARRIET LANE, NORTHLAND, SPENCER, SENECA, ESCANABA, FORWARD, and LEGARE.
