2014年5月16日 · You can reset the bios/cmos by taking the battery out with the comp unplugged, for 10 - 15 mins. Then you need to boot into bios and set it all up again starting with setting optimized defaults then the memory with XMP and what ever else needs to be set up.

2023年11月4日 · The solution I found is to change the CMOS battery and it seems to make Windows return to normal again but changing CMOS battery doesn't fix the "Reset to Default or Fix on Boot" problem. Sometimes, the PC won't even detect the Keyboard on startup so I can't access the BIOS settings to get prevent the freeze in BIOS.

2020年6月27日 · The cmos battery on the motherboard may be depleted. Try to replace that battery and see if that helps.
