Rocketing out of Idalia after a crew change at North Dexter is CNW 8701, one of the Last 2 CNW's on the point of UP Train QNLCH 10, which left North Little Rock, AR the night before at 23:23. The 8701 had been in UP's Jenks Shops at North Little Rock, AR since 3-31-06 and spent over 2 months there for maintenance.

Reliable sources on local lists have reported the the last two CNW-painted engines, 8676 and 8701, have been pulled from storage at the Illinois Railway Museum. Sadly, both appear to be on their way to North Little Rock for new UP yellow/gray paint.

CNW 8646 and 8701 were the last remaining unpatched CNW locomotives on the roster and were kept at Illinois Railway Museum until 2017 took them to be repainted and put back in service. Records indicate that they were renumbered to UP 9750 and 9805.
