
Canadian Pacific No. 1057 | Locomotive Wiki | Fandom
Canadian Pacific No. 1057 is a Class D-10h 4-6-0 steam locomotive built by Montreal Locomotive Works in December 1912 as one of 502 ten-wheelers owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The locomotive was retired from active service in 1960 and was one of the last steam locomotives to be overhauled at John Street Roundhouse.

Historical Note: CPR 1057 Arrives at Tottenham - Part 2 of 2 - TRHA
For a three year period, 1057 was the power for the steam train operation between Ottawa and Wakefield, sponsored by the Federal Government. In recent years, 1057 has seen limited use as backup power for 136 on the South Simcoe Railway in Tottenham Ontario, and both locomotives remain out of service at this writing.

Still preserved at the South Simcoe Railway in Tottenham, Ontario, is CPR class D10h Ten-Wheeler No. 1057. Tac Foley provided this photo taken by A. B. Crompton on May 30, 1971, its first day out of the shop after restoration to operating condition. No. 1057 came from Montreal Locomotive Works in 1912.

2009年9月22日 · At Tottenham, ex-Canadian Pacific D10h No. 1057 is brought up to pressure and operated under her own steam for the first time in twenty years. Built in 1912, the locomotive had been restored and serviced at the John Street roundhouse in the 1970s.
