2013年1月4日 · CR5 steels are extra deep drawing quality stabilized interstitial free, & Aluminum Killed (non-aging) mild steel as discovered in ISO 3574 and are categorized equivalent to SPCG steels in JIS G3141 standard.

CR5 (super deep drawing grade): This steel grade enables particularly deep and complex forming processes and is often used for high-precision molded parts. CR6 (ultra deep drawing grade): The highest grade of cold rolled steels, which offers maximum formability and is suitable for the most complex shapes and deepest drawing processes.

20MnCr5 steel (1.7147 material) is an European standard carburized steel (case hardening steel) with high strength and toughness and good hardenability. The quenching deformation is small, the low temperature toughness and the machinability are good, but the welding performance is low.
