If the decoder decodes the correct tone/code, it activates the repeater OR if the (tight) CSQ logic sees a signal strong enough to break the squelch, it will activate the repeater. This is a way to eliminate weak CSQ signals yet still allow the repeater to be used by 'locals' in CSQ mode.

2007年8月16日 · CSQ means there is no tone. So you can pick it up. I have about 10 scanners, and don't have a single tone programmed. I enjoy hearing the distant stations when conditions are right, and capture effect cuts out the other stations when the local stations transmit.

2016年7月22日 · To void out 67.0 just try them on 1 and 2 and that'll tell you if they use master plan with 2 csq followed by 131 dpl on rest. It varies but that is the default tone setup Corp sends them out on. If they change either management or a smart lp will monkey change the tones around on them all or like said if they have public interference.
