2022年12月24日 · It's possible CZ is discontinuing current Bren 2 models in preparation to import the new receiver for the Bren 2 pistols so it can support the regular stock as well as the PDW stocks. The PDW receiver is more angled near the top so the PDW stock bars can go in and out, where-as the current Bren 2 MS receiver is squared out in the same spot.

2023年9月3日 · The Bren 2 is also 1/2 the cost of the 16S. For a 5.56 gun I'd get the Bren 2 and never look back at the SCAR 16S. The guy a couple posts above was making fun of the Bren 2 being called a SCAR killer but between the 5.56 guns it is a heavily improved SCAR and just does a lot better than the SCAR 16S.

It seems like a nice rifle though, and I liked the 805 — the charging handle bugged me so I didnt buy one, but the Bren 2 has a new style.

2022年9月11日 · I called CZ-USA and asked them about the regulator and... they said the 5.56 regulator hasn't been updated at all. The change has only been made to the 7.62x39 regulator. I told the guy on the phone I have the 5.56 carbine model with 16.5" barrel and it has the same 3 position regulator as the x39 pistols and my regulator says "5.56" on it.

2019年11月16日 · The CZ Bren 2 are finally starting to show up semi consistently. Any of you lucky enough to get one in the 7.62x39 variety? I'm very interested in a modern 7.62x39 design as the AK has been around a long while. For good reason of course, but it has shortfalls except for reliability. Can't argue with that aspect of the platform.

2022年2月5日 · Some pics of the CZ Bren 2 PPS - a DMR variant of the Bren 2 BR also in 7.62 NATO. Has an 18" barrel and MLok handguard like the Bren 2 Carbine. Unfortunately this is a mil only variant right now like the BR.

Right now, given that there are no suppressor friendly accessories for a bren I would say that the Ace is probably the better bet since you can at least tune the gas via a KNS Piston. IF you dont mind waiting and seeing what the aftermarket will develop, then the Bren 2 is a SUPER solid choice.
