I heard a lot of good about this modem, and listed by Xfinity as capable of reaching up to 2.33Gbps in download, no upload specified. But it's not in the Next Gen Speed Tier section. How would it perform with these plans 800/100, 1200/200 and 2000/200 ?

2020年8月11日 · After weeks of chats with tech support and the automated phone support that just wants to reboot my modem I finally got a live person who tells me you signal is within normal limits but can't tell me what those limits are. Obviously my modem doesn't agree. I believe these downsteam numbers are on the ragged edge of being too low.

Updates: So upon further research, it turns out that I do need a router in order for thr Netgear modem to work. Grrrr. More money, I don't want to spend..
