The checkering on the front and back strap is more of a cross hatching and looks outstanding. The frame is actually that of a full size government 1911, despite the Nero’s original specs is that of a commander.

I’ve ran 250 rounds of Federal FMJ and 150 rounds of HST 230 gr, not one hiccup. I’ve used Cabot, Wilson and Tripp magazines 8 and 10 round and all have functioned as expected.
