2012年10月4日 · I released my final video review of the Rebel SL2 today (I don't know if it is worth investing the time to do a full text review). I try to detail what's good about the camera, but keep coming back to the fact that other than being slightly smaller than the t7i/800D it really doesn't have anything else unique going for it.

2022年9月6日 · I’ve got the Sigma and on the SL2 it works pretty well.. af performance isn’t amazing, and sometimes i feel the look of the lenses isn’t quite right.. i think this is partially realising how much better the leica glass is, and partially lenses that weren’t designed for a system not performing their best.

2019年12月21日 · The only problem with Canon EF lenses mounted on the SL2 via the MC-21 is that you cannot decouple the AF from the shutter release. If you put the lens in manual mode on the lens barrel, the BBF doesn’t work. The AF is very precise but a bit slow. Edited December 21, 2019 by Leicaiste

2025年1月28日 · C-AF on the SL2/ SL2-s -> forget it; S-AF is fine though C-AF on SL3 (and I assume even better with the SL3-s) - you can use it but its still a big gap compared to Canon R5/R3. Clearly better keeper rate with the Canons, also better viewfinder image during burst shooting in C-AF.

2010年7月20日 · While the M has its charm (especially if one shoots 28, 35 or 50), the SL2-S is usable on a much wider range of focal lengths with a the far better EVF and powerful stabilisation. (Yes the Leica is heavier, but it aids stability, too, easier to keep it level.)
