The cask has live yeast to produce carbonation and usually has to have finings put in to make it drop bright. Usually the cask has a short shelf life , like 2-4 days.

Living near Philadelphia, which has a superb beer culture, I sort of took for granted that there would be a robust market for cask ale in New York. Evidently not.

2005年3月23日 · FYI Noble Ale Works doesn't serve real cask ale. I'm sure there are at least several more from this list that don't as well. Many places across the US have beer engines or fake beer engines and just pull from a standard keg or possibly from an actual cask but the beer was never cask conditioned.
