2006年10月17日 · Binoy, Cat5 shouldn't be a problem with POE Power can be supplied in two ways over CAT cables: For Cisco ILP, inline power is provided over data pairs 2 and 3 (RJ-45 pins 1,2 and 3,6) at 48V DC. Thanks for your answer. I started thinking at the solution in terms of the number and quality of connections. I ended up using a female 110 punch-down connector on one end and a male crimped connection on the other. Everything tested well and the POE device (in this case, a 5MP Camera) came right back up.
