Mar 9, 2018 · Check out whether HDR luminance range line is missing or not. This is either an issue by default or caused through a faulty firmware update. If your monitor has the same issue, please write the Samsung support. The firmware of the CHG70 series wasn’t updated since November which is ridiculous for a premium product with so many reported issues.

I'm currently on: m-HG732CCAA-1021.4f Was aiming for 1025 for what's listed. CHG70 1025 Firmware (Given by Samsung chat "support".) That...is a very elaborate setup for flashing firmware. I've had to do similar things but, it was much older tech. I can't believe a monitor that's as new as this is riddled with issues like this. I'm very saddened by Samsung's quality right now.

Oct 12, 2019 · I have the CHG70 27" with Nvidia 2070 Super Gaming OC. Seems like the 1022.1 firmware helped with the HDR image quality (from viewing Youtube HDR videos at least). Sep 22, 2020 · As I was looking into the high-end CHG70 model (LC32HG70), I saw the forum issues regarding the activation of G-Sync AND HDR at the same time. I saw this issue reported on other monitors as well, despite the fact that they have a FreeSync Premium Pro label.

Aug 1, 2017 · Sure, the chg70 is a way better for gaming, 1440p, 144hz, amazing color, 8 local dimming (lol ok it s just 8 zone but when you turn it on (even without the HDR) color are very brilliant (may its the samsung way to get the 600 nits peak). My 1080 gtx run all my games over 100fps with full quality settings compared to 50 fps on my 4k display.

What is going on with Samsung and the CHG70 series? Ordered my C27HG70 because it looks pretty stellar (I'm not worried about HDR so the not-true HDR gimmick doesn't bother me, and I'm nvidia so Freesync range doesnt bother me).
