Chio Fain was an Ardennian male slicer who operated during the time of the Galactic Empire. His partner, Rone, was killed by the Empire, leading to Fain seeking revenge. Sometime later, he was hired into a team led by Beilert Valance, to hunt down Darth Vader.

Rone was a slicer who was the partner of Chio Fain. After slicing into property of the Galactic Empire, Rone and Fain were pursued and attacked by Imperial TIE fighters above Ryarten. Rone distracted the fighters so that Fain could escape into hyperspace, but was killed.

During the era of the Galactic Empire, the Ardennian Chio Fain worked as a slicer alongside his partner Rone until Rone's death in a skirmish with TIE fighters, [10] after which Fain joined Beilert Valance 's team in an effort to hunt down and kill Darth Vader.
