Ash and Goh agree to travel to Sinnoh to investigate, and leave the Cerise Laboratory just as Chloe comes back from her school's end-of-semester ceremony. As she heads home, she tells her father that she's looking forward to their family vacation.

Chloe Cerise's Eevee in Pokémon Journeys is a female, marking the first instance of a visible gender difference for this species in the anime. Her inability to evolve is likely a nod to the Partner Eevee from Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee! who shares this trait.
