The Emergency Department (ED) at CHOP’s Main Building on our Philadelphia Campus is staffed by attending physicians and nurses who are specially trained in pediatric emergency medicine. The ED is available 24 hours a day to handle pediatric emergencies, unscheduled visits and consultations that need immediate attention.

Prescription and non-prescription medications are available at the Retail Pharmacy located on both the Philadelphia Campus and the King of Prussia Campus. The Retail Pharmacy in Philadelphia is located on the first floor of the Hospital, just inside the main entrance.

Philadelphia Campus is home to CHOP’s main campus complex, encompassing a 546-bed pediatric hospital primarily dedicated to inpatient care.
