The International Council for Lasallian Association and the Educational Mission (CIAMEL), as defined by its statutes, is a deliberative and collaborative body of Brothers and Partners representing the worldwide Institute.

Formed in 2015, the commission is tasked with animating and directing existing and future educational programs that embody the Lasallian mission.

It was postponed again to February 2021 before being reimagined in the current two-phase format.
