The Cessna Citation CJ4 is the largest, longest-range (1,920nm) CJ family member, adding an additional two feet on the CJ3 cabin. Typically configured for seven, the CJ4 also introduces a different wing design than earlier models, adopting the moderately swept wing design of the Citation Sovereign.

The Cessna Citation CJ4 is the newest and largest model of the Citation CJ line. Compared to the CJ3, it is the same cabin cross-section but 21 inches longer. Introduced in 2010, it is one of the largest aircraft in the light jet class.

Citation CJ4 is basically a stretch version of CJ3 and tracks its roots back to the Cessna Citation 525 series launched in 1989 to replace Citation and Citation 1 and now include Cess Citation 1 to CJ1. The Citation CJ4 is powered by two Williams FJ44-4A turbofan engines, each of which produces 16,11 kN of power.
