I only get a black screen, and after a couple minutes the fans spin to max before shutting down, which is the same thing that happens when I try to boot it without any gpu at all.

But the PowerBiosServer service was still working and my apps which were using the WMI interface were still able to change the Keyboard Colors. BTW: If you would manage to install the PowerBiosServer without Clevo Control Center.

This helps some, but the only true fix it to sand the contact plate on a level surface. If you do this GPU temps are actually much better than m18x temps since the Clevo fan moves 2.5x more air than the alienware GPU fans.
