2018年6月18日 · I really wanted a Clown Tang and 4ford advised me not to add one with an achilles. My powder blue is the smallest of my group at around 3". He is bold and if he begins to be problematic as he grows I will remove him. Jason and I both thought my powder brown was going to be the problem, he was a major jerk in QT but is way lax in DT.

2015年9月30日 · I don't know how big your tank is but adding more than one at s time may help. Or if you find someone locally getting rid of a yellow tang that is too aggressive it may have a chance! Seriously though it depends on the fish. A tang nasty enough to hammer a blenny is probably among the nastiest and adding a tang to that mix is a very risky endeavor.

2021年8月19日 · Experienced Clown tang keepers only please! I have always thought the Clown Tang is the most beautiful fish. I have heard so many 2nd and 3rd hand stories of peoples experiences with them not going well. Very little advice from people first hand. For that reason I did not stock my tank with one.

2023年1月23日 · There is a little sparring with the Sohol and clown tang once in a while, but Sohol prefers to stay on the left side of the tang. Purple is accepted by the Sohol and they hang out. Convict is the one I plan on removing. Likes to chase the PBT about one a month, then fine. No issues with clown tang and other fish. Always have an exit plan.

2023年7月19日 · UPDATE : i have him in an acclimation box, my hospital tank had a massive crack so i can’t use that. i noticed he has a bunch of white marks on both side of his body. i am assuming from the rock he has been leaning on. he did swim to the other side of the tank but was planted in the sand. i dont know what more to do, i increased the oxygen in the tank and did a water change a few minutes ago ...

2021年11月7日 · Hey all. Looking for some advise from some more experienced tang keepers. I recently purchased a juvenile clown tang probably 2.5”-3” long. I believe he is a wild caught specimen. He will not eat prepared foods. Frozen or pellet. He does continuously pick at the rocks for algae. He will not even go for the Nori on a clip.

2024年3月18日 · I woke up Sunday morning, clown tang was dead, all others fine (foxface dark and hiding, but that's normal in my experience). I tested - all levels look fine, Ph 8.0, zero ammonia, nitrate and nitrite. Assume there was an isolated issue, brought fish to the lfs, got another approx 3" clown tang. Repeated same process to add.
